”Western” region its inhabitants actually breathe the cleanest air, because there are 55 square meters of greenery per person. The most favorite places for a walk are the Rowing Base and the sports complex of Plovdiv Stadium. In third place is the region “North”. Here the main advantage is the number of primary and secondary schools, which is the largest compared to other parts of Plovdiv. In second place was the ”Central” region. The large influx of tourists and the saturation of monuments of culture and various landmarks also create many problems. The first place is for the ”Trakia” residential area and the reasons are clear. The youngest district of Plovdiv, which is only 32 years old, is the most dynamically developing. Its latest infrastructural jewel – the sports hall “Kolodruma”, will soon open its doors.
